01What does Futura Genomics test for?＋
Our panels explore inherited influences related to ancestry, nutrition, fitness, skin, mental wellbeing and broader wellness. Results are educational and are not a diagnosis.
02How is my sample collected?＋
Your kit uses a sterile buccal swab. After avoiding food and drink for 30 minutes, rub the swab firmly inside both cheeks, seal it in the tube, and return it in the supplied packaging.
03How long do results take?＋
Reports are generally delivered to your secure dashboard within 10–14 days after the laboratory receives a valid sample.
04Can I add tests later?＋
Yes. Once your initial data is available, you can unlock additional Futura insight panels for $45 each without submitting another sample.
05Is my DNA data secure?＋
Genetic data is anonymised, encrypted and stored separately from identifying information. We do not sell or share it without explicit informed consent.
06Can I delete my data?＋
Yes. You retain ownership and may request deletion of your genetic data, subject to lawful laboratory and transaction record obligations.
07Do you ship internationally?＋
Yes. South African delivery typically takes 3–5 business days and international delivery 7–15 business days, excluding customs delays.
